Sri Aurobindo (1872–1950), the remarkable twentieth Century sage and visionary, discovered that various forms of yoga are different facets of a comprehensive ancient practice he called Integral Yoga. Integral Yoga brings together wisdom, love, and compassion in our day-to-day practices, and aknowledges that each human being is unique and must travel a path suited to his or her unique potential. According to Sri Aurobindo “all life is yoga”. Yoga is the key to both inner peace and outer and collective harmony and a necessary foundation for human spiritual evolution. This symposium brings together some of the foremost authorities from India and Europe on this subject for the first time in the New York Metropolitan area to discuss the core principles of this comprehensive spiritual practice.
