Golden Disc

Since my trip to Auroville & Pondicherry (more later on that) I am feeling a pressure behind me above the shoulders and head. It is as if a golden disc, much larger than the body, much larger than myself, is pressing down, forcing something out of the human that wishes to express or perhaps to co-evolve with it. The disc looks something like one of the discs used for the Matrimandir only its texture is more porous. I don't "see" the disc exactly, but feel its presence, and the pressure of it varies - sometimes weighty in ways that make my knees shake, and at other times quite light and bright. Sometimes it feels very large and I want to reach up and touch it, or hang glide with it. I am learning about this presence now as it is new to me, and I am trusting that it is part of this process of Surrender. It first presented while we were in the room of the Mother.

Kim thanks for the insights into your trip, it sounds as if you have taken a very concrete part of your journey back with you. Pretty powerful stuff!
And IMO you are certainly on the right path in trusting in the process of surrender. You may find something in the letters on yoga which addresses your experiences. rich Re: Golden Disc

Rich - I don't want to clutter up the message board with this, but I can't find your email address. Could you send it to me? Mine is thetawolf@vzavenue.net.
Also, re your comment, thanks for the "Letters" reference. I've just been led to two books after finishing Peter Hees wonderful brief biography on Sri Aurobindo - Ron has piled on the coffee table the original Letters Vol. 1 and Peter Hees compilation of Letters, the latter of which I've started reading. It's great! I'm wanting also a copy of The Life Divine, which we don't seem to have anywhere. Fortunately the Center is close by! ~ K |
