Yes,
so true. I've spent (too) much of my professional life researching and
attempting to warn others re "terminator tech." The real horror is that
many of these negative changes are the result of the best of
intentions; e.g. the population explosion and accompanying suffering
that occurred with the introduction of modern medicine in the East
(thus dramatically decreasing the death rate) without also focusing on
bringing down the birth rate. And of course the accelerating damage to
the Earth's biosphere accompanying the spread of the West's consumerist
lifestyles.
Aren't most of us in this forum already painfully aware of the negative trends surrounding us?
I
admit that a real bias of mine for this forum is to focus on the many
positive signs that the work done by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother is in
fact resulting in a discernible evolutionary transformation.
“The Mother says that since its advent in 1956, the force is
effectively determining the course of earthly events. The diffusion
of the Cuban crisis and simultaneous inexplicable withdrawal of the
Chinese from the Indian border when invasion was immanent occurred
because of the presence of this Force. She also says children born
after 1962 have greater receptivity to this Force.”

There are many indicators of this if one looks for them; for example, recent sociological research:
"... shows that the number and intensity of wars and armed conflicts
have fallen once again, continuing a steady 15-year decline that has
halved the amount of organized violence around the world."
Certainly not the impression one gets from most of modern media ...
I wonder if there are similar positive changes also happening in our relationship with the vegetable kingdom?
Namaste,
~ ron
