Your Flick'r photo badges are terrific and the photos themeselves are fantastic? Did you take them yourself? Could you label them so that when someone clicks on one of them they know what they are looking at?

A few of them are mine, but they're mostly by Aurovilian photographers. I dl'd them from AV's main website.
Re labeling them, yes, I could probably go back and do that. I'll add that to my to do list. Have you checked out the new "IY-related Books" component I just added to the left MP column? I used the beta version of "Google Print," the global effort they're making to digitize all of the books in the world's libraries. These are their first results, from the collections of the Stanford, Harvard, and Oxford libraries. This is really mind-boggling. Imagine the new opportunities for scholars, as well as interested laypeople! ~ r Flick'r Photo Badges temporarily removed

Deb & Rich,
I've temporarily removed the Flick'r photo badges from the Main Page, because they seemed to be contributing to a significant delay yesterday and last night re the loading time of the Main Page. - Almost the entire page would load, and then get hung up on waiting for the static Flick'r update. Hopefully, this is just a short-term problem and we'll be able to reinstate them on the Main Page soon. ~ ron |
