The spiritual or Overmental transformation is the second of the three transformations which constitute the objective of Sri Aurobindo's yoga. Sri Aurobindo's siddhi of November 24, 1926 established the overmental consciousness and personality in his material physical. In this passage from The Life Divine, Sri Aurobindo describes the possibilties of what he calls "the overmind change" and its limitations and the consequent transition leading to the third or supramental transformation. more »
