Romen's All are Veils (Click for RY Deshpande's & Sri Aurobindo's comments.)
A seed is a veil to a seed,
A joy to a far delight;
A thirst has screened a need
To be thy miraculous height.
A ray has covered a ray,
A sun a wonder sun;
The sapphire heart of a day
Has veiled thy dominion.
Beyond the bliss and force,
Beyond the gate, of the moon,
There is a diamond source,
There is a looming Noon.
To tear all veils of light
To rend the veils of the bliss
That ours may grow deep and bright
In an unexhausted release
And the sun of God may grip
The night, and life and soul,
And time and space may slip
To become the dateless whole.
