The Institute was founded in 2003 as a not-for-profit organization and has
its headquarters in Santa Barbara, California. Start-up activities are its focus
in 2004, with a full-scale public launch to occur in early 2005.
The Santa Barbara Institute’s activities focus on three inter-related
fields of endeavor:
